I've forgotten what it's like not to be working. If I'm not careful, I can get used to this, and then it'll all be a damn shame. Of course, I do a few things here and there, washing, cleaning, cooking. Just to keep busy is all. You know what they say about idle hands.

Does anyone happen to remember the countercurse for a Jelly Legs Jinx? I'm sure my uncle's dog doesn't appreciate it every much. Serves him right for scaring the blazes out of me though.

It's getting harder and harder to sleep. Maybe it was a good thing I passed out the other day from not eating. Maybe that's the only way I can get some rest. I don't think it's exactly healthy, but at least I won't have to worry about those nightmares. Uncle Elliot seems to be in high spirits lately. I think he got a raise, and in today's economy, that's a rather decent accomplishment. I'm glad he's happy. He's a good person.
